Please read my stories with an open mind and heart. I write these stories as entertainment and to record my stories as a carer not to blame or offend anyone.
We are having let’s make everything disappear day. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh!
Mr.J. is systematically going around the house rearranging every single cupboard that is making me insane because from now on I will not be able to find things any more that I knew where they were place before.
So, the incessant item hunting continues enhanced with the fact that now he may have hidden it somewhere nobody knows where.
Just one of those mad days when the early-stage Alzheimer is having its fun! To my observation, each Alzheimer patient has his/her own trigger. Mr.J. is worried that we may run out things or something that is valuable or important to him may get taken away and it will no longer be available to him. So, he hides those items away for safekeeping except he does not remember where he has hidden them. So, when he looks for an item next time, he cannot find them and accuses the carer or family to have taken them. Therefore, all carers must be on alert and endless item hunting.
